Green Blotched Moth - Cosmodes elegans

 This moth was sighted inside my neighbour's house but I took the photo. It was taken on the 10th October 2012 at 12:53 PM. The green on this moth is a lovely lime green colour. The moth's appearance and colour reminded me of peppermint chocolate (food) actually.

This species is not a commonly sighted moth in this area. I guess you need a really big garden with lots of plant life in it before you start seeing these moths coming inside your house.

Moth species 1

Photos taken back in February 2013 of a little brown and pink moth that I found flying around inside my home. After photographing the moth I let it go outside. I have no idea what species of moth it is but am trying to ID it.

Frog species 1

These photos were taken on the 1st May 2013 in my front garden. I was rearranging my potted plants and found this little frog underneath one of the pots. I have not identified the frog species yet but still trying to. Moisture had collected underneath the pot in the groove on the top of the empty bee box which I am using to elevate plants. The frog happily drank from this collected water as I took photos of it. The water was less than 1cm deep.
