I do not know anything about fungi except that a fungi can be a mushroom or toadstool. That's the limit of my knowledge. Growing at the base of a chopped down Peach tree on my front lawn, this fungi has been growing for months on end, getting bigger over time. I'll try to identify this species if I can.

This is the same fungi 3 months later. The flesh coloured outer edge area of the fungi is delicate to the touch. The top of the fungi has cracks on it. It is 19 cm wide.
